"Natural resources, both renewable and non-renewable, and ecosystem services are a part of the real wealth of nations. The air we breathe, the water we drink, the sun rays that reach us, and the food that we consume every day, are all gifts from the environment, and as such, it becomes important that they are respected, and their values understood.

Reversing nature loss Is simply committing to halt and start reversing the loss of nature, and restore nature to more sustainable levels.

Benefits of reversing nature loss include access to water and food, health, stable climate and general quality of life.

How do we reverse nature loss? There is a clear, achievable, science-based, pathway that implies building a movement for 2020 and beyond. Locally, communities, governments, and businesses need to engage and work together to provide a concrete implementation of the global frameworks.

Happy World Environment Day"
